Well, you see,
There's this girl who I know,
Who is pretty popular, who I'm trying to get to like me.
She is a big flirt, and is friends with almost every boy in school.
And almost, a million boys like her, including my best friend.
I am friends with her, and she is in my class.

I know stuff about her like:
She comes from scotland.
sometimes annoying and stupid.
enthusiatic.
14 yrs old too.
very good dancer.
address, E-mail and phone number.

If I just go up to her and ask her on a date,
Then almost every boy will be jealous and my best friend will hate me.
If I phone her, and then ask her on a date,
then what if someone sees? (that's pretty crappy too.)
So I ask you guys and gals to help me.

Gals: How will a boy tell you that he likes you and go on a date if you are:
popular, smart, annoying, pretty and enthusiatic
without any other boy knowing?

Guys: exactly the same problem as mine.

Why are you going to date secretly? You ashamed to be seen with her? **** the other people. It's your life, your relationship, so you date who YOU want to. Hell, my good friend dates fat chicks. He loves fat chicks. I wouldn't date any of the girls he dated but I hold absolutely nothing against him. It's HIS life, HIS relationship, and he's happy so I'm happy for him. And he doesn't care who sees him. Cause he's happy.

i guess i'll be another to say forget what other people are saying. if you're still afraid of what others think, just talk to her alone or get her at a time when it's just you and her and bring it up then. because all that matters is who SHE chooses in the end. if everyone likes her and she chooses YOU, that makes you the winnar! but seriously, i used to go out with this one girl in high school, she was on the cheerleading squad and she was the one all the guys wanted to get with...i was just another boy in the crowd, i just happen to talk to her as if i wasn't interested in her and things worked out the way they did, i went out with her and those other guys didn't! just be careful tho, sometimes it doesn't work out that way, i was in my own world and i brought her into it. it wasn't the other way around, you may get consumed into her life and that's not worth changing your own.

If you talk everyday, then you're good enough friends to ask her out.

just don't look at "talking to her" as saying hi when you see her in class. make sure you have conversations with her as well. otherwise you don't know shit about her.

If I were you I'd start re-evaluating this "friendship".

I think you and your friend need to get some things staight pretty quick: i.e. - Both of your intentions. If you are both going to be competing for the same girl, There's a pretty good chance that the friendship is going to suffer, if not completely dissolve. Like Alexi said, if he's going to start competing w/ you knowing that you are into this girl, you might want to take a real hard look at just how valuable this friendship is to you. . .
