the vagina is intended to expand to give birth..so obviously when you have a baby its going to loosen up a little..and in some cases women have to get stitches cos the baby's head stretches it that much.

i am going to say i ride the fence, your vaginal walls are muscles so they stretch and constrict. Now with that said a women that takes care of her self and uses lube and practices kegels could probley sit on god knows what and not be considered loose. Now if you do not take care of your self, your over all heath will be bad so why would a persons vaginal heath be any different.
I don't understand the point of the lube ^, but yes, kegels will help a woman regain muscle tone after giving birth. However, the more you give birth, the more stretched out those muscles become.

Your body makes its own lubrication if the guy knows what he is doing.
well this is true but i stand on the line that says there is never to much lube. and what if i a person has a large amount of flesh around there vaginal opening, so forth
i have no idea, i assume it could stretch/loosen it is only flesh tissue, for example stretch marks and the like, if its pulled over a long period of time skin can easily loosed
Women get stitches when the baby's head *rips* it (or the dr cuts it before it can rip)...not simply for stretching. But sometimes the dr will "take an extra stitch" just to tighten things up.Quote:

I had a baby, I ripped, but it was the skin between the vagina and the anus. I pushed too fast. Had a few stitches but it didnt "stretch" me. The muscles in the vagina DO stretch, its the way God made us to give birth. BUT kegel excercises help to reduce the stretching, and multiple births will stretch the walls more.
There are surgeries now available to tighten the vagina walls. My friend just had it done. She feels like she's 16 she said, in a joking manner of course. We'll see how it really works when she gets the ok to have intercourse! I want mine tightened damnit!

For women that take care of themselves it actually keeps you quite tight as you are strengthening the muscle or no change at all, however if she does not take care of herself and is taking very large men/objects then that can start to wear and tear so to speak. Same is with child birth it matters how many births and how close together and if they take care of the body.

NO, women don't intentionally get "loose" after too much sex. of course after birth it's a different story because they just had a baby's head come out of their vagina so obviously it won't be the same exact size, but only for a short period of time.
the vaginal walls are muscles, they don't stay expanded after a lot of sex. they reduce to their normal size. although, it will be slightly more expanded than when she is a virgin. when you have intercourse for the first time, you rip the vaginal walls, that's why there's all the bleeding. so the vagina won't be as "tight" as it would be when you were still a virgin. but no, women don't get "loose"

About the giving birth thing, scar tissue develops along your pelvis especially in front where you stretch the most. In many cases, a woman's vagina becomes tighter after having a child. Kegels do help. My ex-husband always raved about how tight I was so I was worried about having sex after I gave birth to our daughter. Boy, was I stupid to worry. It was awesome and that was only after the six week wait and yes I did do kegels as soon as I could. I was very tight beforehand and I had to have an episiotomy to get her out.
Now, I have been with my current man for a year and I can feel a pop when he puts it in. He claims that I'm the only chick that's made him 'pop' asap and he attributes this to the fact that I had a baby and the way it 'changed' my vagina. He's been with numerous people, but no one who has had children.
Think about it, if it got that much looser after childbirth then you wouldn't see woman walking around with numerous children because what man would have sex with her more than once? The vagina was designed to spit out babies and provide men pleasure. It is an awesome organ.
