Oreo milkshakes.
Köstrißer Schwarzbier. There is no other answer for this question.
In the blazing hot summer, I like mojitos. Otherwise, I'm not much of a drinker, although I will occassionally order vodka-tonic with lime by default because I don't really know what else to order. I don't drink wine anymore since I overindulged with my sisters a couple of summers ago. The thought of wine STILL makes me queasy.
My favorite kinds of alcoholic beverages are: beer (all kinds, ale, lager, light or dark... but I love dark unfiltered overhopped) wine, vermouth, mead, malt liquor. Basically, the traditional drinks that aren't too strong in alcohol content.
I like strong liquor straight up, and that's probably why I don't like it much. No vodka, rum, whiskey, scotch, or tequila for me... no thanks. I might do take a shot of it to celebrate, but other than that, big hell no.
I don't like spiked/mixed drinks either... to hell with those. IMO those are for the ladies.
Ernest Hemmingway's favorite drink was the mojito. Sir Francis Drake and English pirate Richard Drake also drank them. (Hardly ladies.) :D

Jaeger, Rum, Vodka, Whiskey, Tequila, Scotch, Bourbon, Sambouka, Everclear (mixed with something else.. of course... very good in Margaritas ;) ), Amaretto, Martini (extra dry), Red & White wines... basically quite a bit of the bar... but certainly want nothing to do with beer or exceptionally fruity drinks like daiquiris... and especially will never touch Myer's Rum ever again (battery acid would taste better :P ).
I'll try almost anything with vodka. :D
Where's Illusional?
I don't think there's anything less manly than going with the crowd and determining that one thing or the other is for ladies. Real men drink what they want and if anyone has a problem with that they tell them to go **** themselves.
I like White Russians, personally.

Hemingway was a total wimp.
Sir Francis Drake and Richard Drake are another story though.
Funny, I could name a few things. A bit... shortsighted there, Gerbil?Quote:

Look, most guys drink juice and coke, they have sugar in their coffee, etc. But if alcohol is in the mix, by god that drink had better taste like shit. It wouldn't be manly to have a margarita on a hot day.
That's bullcrap.
If a dude wants to wear a skirt, well, that's different.
What kind of alcohol tastes like shit? You are putting words on my mouth.Quote:

That dude is NEVER invited to go drinking with me.
(I make exceptions on mixed drinks.)
dirty martinis. super dirty.
vodka red bull, flavored vodka.
Girly... manly... whichever gender association is made with drinks varies from person to person.
I just don't like the exceptionally fruity drinks for two reasons:
1.) They're way too sweet (Sambouka is an exception)...
2.) At most places you get jipped on the alcohol content the sweeter the drink is (seemingly)... so I'd rather have a mixed drink with only alcohol in it (no prepared mix).. straight up alcohol... or something that isn't sweet enough to mask the taste of alcohol.
G & T w/lime.
It's very clear you don't know what you are talking about.Quote:

Obviously he doesn't- it's fuccking lilwang
If it has to have alcohol in it, frozen irish coffees are good.
Milkshakes with alcohol in them are very good when you are hung over.
mmm... buttery nipples are good...
Oh man ... raverboy'll love this ... he's all about the Crown and Heinekens ...
1) Hennessy VS or VSOP (sometimes with a water back if I'm not up to it)
2) Irish Carbombs
3) Sierra Nevada
4) Red Horse Beer
5) Remy Martin VSOP
Have you guys had XO Remy or Hennessy? I don't think it's worth the extra dough. Same as VS and VSOP ... someone explain it.

i had this beer called rogue mocha porter. yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!
I was hanging out with this girl on bourbon street during halloween and she asked me if I wanted to taste her sweet pussy.
It was way too sweet, even for me.
Actually, this is a dissociative disorder and NOT schizophrenia ... GO COLLEGE! hahaQuote:

Just to clarify, I meant "GO COLLEGE" as in good thing for college on my part ... in case I sounded like a jerk.Quote:

:smug: Just messing.
Good call on the Car bombs Short, I completely forgot about those. One of my funniest drinking stories was caused by one of those.
Yeah, I always say it's a good kickoff drink because it has beer, hard liquor, and cream ... I'd make 'em at home, but then I'd have to chug all the damn time.Quote:

i tried sierra nevada the other night. ewwwwww. it was maaaaaaaaybe one notch above michelob.
You get it off the tap? I dunno ... perhaps it's an acquired taste. For our baby shower, we had Tecate ... I only got it because it was on sale 30 cans (bleh) for $15 ... and because it always sponsors Pacquiao vs. a Mexican fights ...Quote:

Me too. I have two words for you: senior prom. Bleeaaaahhh.
Also, anything peach-flavored. I blame Bartles & James.
I pretty much stick to white wine or champagne these days.
At the risk of sounding like some of our European posters, I find most American style beer tastes the same. Bud, Coors, etc. Lately I've been on a huge Guinness kick. If I'm going to have an American beer, though, I typically go with Yuengling.
there's this really delicious new mexican champagne called bellisimo from st. clair. the shit is delicious.
I find American beers similar in taste, but they are slightly different.Quote:

I've been enjoying the local beer. It's very nice. Here and there though I've had a Pilsner or a Budweis (Czech brand, not American)
There was only one type of beer I actually liked (didn't have the overwhelming 'fungal' taste)... and it was a Russian brand. I'll have to check with the World Market again and see if they carry it. I can't pronounce the name... but I'd recognize it in an instant.
It's just smooth and tasty... much like beer has often been described as.. but until now... failed to live up to (IMO).
