i just changed my number because i do not want my boyfriend to contact me anymore...
he will just text whenever he wants to see me, i just feel that I'm just one of his options..hmpp! i met his mom already but it wont change the fact that whenver he's out of town, it seems that he rili dont care, i'm always the one who would call!
Do you think i'm right that i'm just one of his options?

Anyway, I don't understand why you would change your number so your boyfriend can't text you, nor do I understand what his mother has to do with any of this. And what's wrong with being an option? I rather be an (exercised) option than a resented obligation. Are you generally a pretty dramatic girl?

You sound very young... Meaning, you changing your number has more to do with trying to increase the drama than anything else. If I was your boyfriend, when I realized you changed your number without telling me, that probably would be a deal breaker for me unless you have a very good reason to explain yourself...
In short... You will find as you (hopefully) start to date older guys that they have a very short tolerance for bad behavior and/or drama. We are nice and very easy to get along with, but once you start playing games dont think that we can easily be controlled.

Why change your number??? Just don't reply or better yet tell him you will not be that kind of gf. He can't treat you badly if you don't allow it.... Changing your number is too dramatic and tells him nothing...

It's called the alpha male syndrome. Males feel that they have to be in control and be the dominant one in the relationship. We are closely related to monkeys, and if you look at apes, when they are in groups, they obey the alpha male and the AM is the law.
So, they do their best to try and not come off as being weak, and at times, end up acting insensitive.
Of course, when is the last time a weepy, sensitive guy ever get any sex, hmmm? Very rarely. It's because women see that as weakness and exploit it to their fullest potential, which makes women even worse than guys by being manipulative and controlling.
I know someone who has had that happened to him. he treated these girls like queens by being very sensitive, nice, and they just used him as their errand boy and basically kicked him to the curb when they were done exploiting him.
So if you really want to whine about guys not being insensitive, ladies, look in the mirror because the reason is closer than you think.
