It's normal for husbands to TASTE it, but I don't know about making a meal out of it.
i dont know about normal, but you are not hurting anyone so if turns you on go for it
^^ agreed. I wouldnt mind tasting it. But as Vashti mentioned, it would be quite wierd laying there in your wife/gfs feeding. LOL
My ex husband didn't want to taste mine and if he'd asked to taste it, I'd have thought he'd lost his marbles. I can't say I've ever heard of any guy wanting to drink breast milk...it is supposed to for the baby, not the man!!
Can you imagine it. The baby on one tit, your husband suckling on the other at same time....honestly! lol
Seriously? All of my girlfriends told me their husbands wanted to see what it tastes like. Even *I* wanted to know. (It's sweet.... much sweeter than cow's milk, and watery.)Quote:

I like sucking on boobies...I'll pass on the milk though.
I don't like it when my husband actually sucks on my nipples. Feels too much like breastfeeding. Licking is good, though.Quote:

Well years ago I was on a certain pill that got my boobs to leak a little and my then partner used to suck on them...not like for ages but he found it very intimate and sexy and I did not see anything wrong with it...but again he was not feeding on it...that would have been disturbing behaviour...yuk!
^ its not disturbing to guys i think, its almost the same thing as girls swallowing semen. I personally think i would get much close and intimate with my wife if I drink her milk, ofcourse not lots of it, just enough though
It just reminds me of this ...

Leak WHAT, exactly? If it wasn't milk, I'd be afraid for him to ingest it.Quote:

Anyway, breast milk was good enough for that guy in The Grapes of Wrath..... (any readers out there?)
i tasted breast milk recently. it's not bad.
It was definitely milk..and it stopped when I stopped the pill ...Quote:

Nothing wrong with it if its just the excess. Of course you can't compete with the baby. Besides, who wouldn't want natural cancer killers?
I think it's kind of funny that drinking milk from a woman's breast should be considered disgusting while drinking milk squeezed from a cow's udder is perfectly fine.
^ thats exactly what i was thinking, why is it disgusting??? especially when we have already drank our moms milk as babies, also i find it funny that people dont find the idea of swallowing semen disgusting yet breast milk they do. I personally dont find it digusting at all and can't wait to try it
Sounds great. All you need now is to find a girl and get her pregnant. And you're all set.
well i am currently breastfeeding my 14 mth old baby ,,, and let me tell you my partner hates the taste of it and wont even lick my boobs now ,, cause he always gets a mouthfull of it ,, dam it i do miss it ,, but im not stopping feeding my baby yet ..
so yeah you may not even like the taste of it when it happens ,, , dont be dissappointed ,, but i must say what a strange thing to wanna do ??? its not ment to be sexual its suppose to be for the baby ,,a little gross i think to wanna have a feed off her though weired?
I think it's more the act itself than the product involved - drinking it straight from the breast would equal to drinking it straight from the udder.Quote:

Either way, I don't see the point why anyone would want to do it beyond just tasting it other than if it's a fetish.
Well when I do get pregnant and my guy would want a taste fine, but nothing more. It's exactly what 5 kids for us said, it's not meant to be sexual, it's for the baby. And a kid sucking your boobs is meant to be very different from your hubby doing it, seriously, not my thing.
It would disturb me. My breasts are very sensitive and an important part of physical intimacy. Then when I had children, they became a feeding tool. To blur that line would interfere with my comfort level during sexual encounters. Nursing and playing are 2 very different functions of breasts and need to stay that way. I mean, licking and tasting the milk wouldn't bother me, but latching on and nursing even for a second would totally turn me off.
I so hope that is a typo!!!!Quote:

Why qwert. Some women are breast feeding even older babies. If she still has the milk, baby still wants it ,then tell me why not. Besides 14months old baby is not even talking correctly yet or doesn't go to school , who should be ashamed of? For example I would be more annoyed seeing that women never even start to breast feed their babies ,even though they have milk (cause some mother just don't have enough to feed their children).
Oh and another pro, economic argument is , that mother's milk is SO much cheaper than the substitutes of milk you have to buy if you don't want to breast feed. It's
Cause at 14 months, babies have rather alot of teeth!!Quote:

I know someone who is breast feeding her child even though it's pretty old already and has teeth. The child is old enough to understand when she says " if you bite me,you won't get the milk" . Trust me,her son knows how it works ,otherwise she wouldn't continue to breast feed her child . And I'm sure it works with all of the children ;)
I know someone who is a doctor...doesnt mean i know anything about being a doctor.
Well, OK, then. I have nursed 2 children. Both weaned at a year of their own volition, and both had a full mouth of teeth at that point. The position of the mouth while actively nursing precludes biting down on anything. It is only before latching and after unlatching that a child may bite. My elder child bit me once (at about 5 months of age) and the squeak I made scared her and she never did it again a single time. The younger one never bit me at all.
Teeth are beside the point. If we weaned a baby when it first got a tooth, we'd be weaning them from the best nutrition available for infants to a second-best copy well before they are old enough to get nutrition from solid foods. If breastmilk isn't an option for any reason, certainly formula is fine...but for mothers who can nurse, why would you want to pay out the nose for an even slightly inferior product and deal with extra preparation and stinkier diapers?
^^^it's not even just that. the natural source has been proven to be better for a child's development than formulas. formulas have done a good job at getting pretty close to the real thing, but there are more complex substances in breast milk that are too difficult to manufacture, some have not yet been identified. breast milk passes on antibodies that help defend against infections, prevents allergies, and can protect against a number of chronic conditions. and doctors highly recommend to breast feed exclusively for up to 6 months and continue up to 12 months...they even recommend longer if both the mother and child are willing. many studies have been done to show that breast milk might prevent obesity, that children who were breast fed have higher IQ's than children who weren't, and a few other benefits. nothing has been proven absolutely, but breast feeding is the most natural route to go, hands down.
so my point is, breast feeding is the best for however long the mother and child are willing. i've seen some women who have continued breast feeding children for years. i wouldn't necessarily agree with doing it for too long because it becomes more of a "mother not wanting to let go" kind of situation, and enabling the children to be a little too needy. at that point it's not really about nourishment anymore. but yeah, i don't think there is any particular time where a mother should stop doing it.
I didnt say anything about not breast feeding, its definately for the best. I personally just wouldnt do it till that age...but i didnt say it was right or wrong, it just irritates me when someone with no experience whatsoever tries to say what is and isnt right because 'she knows someone' .
^^^i wasn't implying that's what you were doing. i just felt it was important to put that information out there. when people say that people should stop breast feeding at a certain point...like 12 months, 14 months, etc. (not talking about 48 months here) i don't think they really know what they are talking about. if the mother and the child are equally willing, then i don't think there is any problem with it. in fact, most doctors would support it. once you start getting in multiple years of continuing it, then it becomes a bit more complicated because it's not about nourishment anymore, it's a psychological issue. that's all i was trying to say with my post.
Yeah qwert, what an idiotic argument. Just because I'm not certified mother, I can't have anything to say here. Really, if you're just looking for a fight, then say it.
Whos arguing? I was just pointing out to the poster above that I wasnt saying its right or wrong- as i realise my previous post could have looked like i thought it was wrong- i dont.
I'm not looking for a fight..but while were on the subject, its nice to know you cant infract me for having an opinion different to yours.
Here you say it's wrong to nurse a baby at 14mnths , so don't say you were saying it isn't right or wrong.Quote:

And lol , when did I infract you for having a different point of view than me? You're insane ,and you do start to sound like this idiot Neo. I never infracted anybody because I had an argument with them. Well, if I did, proove me wrong , show us the example. If you can't than just stfu.
Where exactly did i say its wrong?? It was a half tongue in cheek response...it is something i wouldnt do, i dont think its wrong or right (as i said previously)Quote:

Your post was so ironic, that 99% of people who read it would say, you SAID it's wrong. Ask others.Quote:
