just a saying im sure some of us have heard of..wondering what you all think..
i think it can hold some truth, when you speak of it in generalizations...just want to know what you all think from relationships.

I think that is what fat women say, or guys who only get fat/ugly women to make themselves feel better.
-The End.
No I beleive that saying Clifton, it works both ways. If the guy aint hot or fine hes awesome to talk and all that good stuff.. A lot of guys I talk with that are hot are so boring and how do I say this? GAY? LOL
It's a stereotype. And I don't believe in stereotypes.
Hmm. Ditto Alexi.
It all depends on the person really. I mean, you could have a really ugly guy who is just smart and funny and a really great person to be around and somehow, they get better looking. Then you can take the prettiest person and if they have a shitty personality, they can just become ugly as hell. I believe in the power of personality. I don't date people based on appearance. It's an added bonus when the guy I'm dating happens to be really great and really hot at the same time. This is just my opinion though.
well this is usually the case because the pretty ones are more stuck up, being that are used to getting what they want in life solely oh their looks. girls that feel like they lack good looks are willing to make up in other areas like personality.

That's only the pretty ones who KNOW theyre pretty. What about all the others who are oblivious to their looks?
So, what am I? :PQuote:

interesting responses, why i brought this up, i think in generalizations it can hold some truth, some of the dopest females ive had the pleasure of knowing havent been all that pretty (by the way, by pretty i mean, in the mainstream sense of whats considered beauty in our culture) but in the same, some of the finest girls ive ever met have been some of the most down to earth chill people and ive gotten along with them real well..but when maturity isnt a factor, i do feel the prettier the girl, the more of a chance there is for her to be stuck up. although in some ways that can be fun.
Well, o wellllllllllllllllll
I don't judge, I give people fair chances... so yeaaaaaa
You are hot with a great personality. You just happen to break the mold a little. It happens sometimes. ;)Quote:

This in all reality is a very important factor, because it suggests a connection with the other person.
The best ones are the ones that suffer from "Ugly Duckling Syndrome". They make the BEST ones to find.
and we are back to the 'ugly duckling syndrome' talk...
Yeah. But it hasn't been talked about in THIS thread yet. So I'm still allowed to bring it up.Quote:

So, I start focusing on her personality. Eventually, see did send me a pic she found and it turns out she's really hot. I'm just proud of the fact that I talked to her before I saw her looks and really got to know her and didn't base anything on looks.

Double edged sword if you ask me..
If you say thats true... then you would agree with the fat lady thing.. ( stereotypical) .. but if you say it isnt .. isnt that being superficial? I mean.. is that the only thing that makes you talk or converse with someone? No right or wrong here.. just asking. IMHO.. relationships and love.. beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
eh im not talking about love at all here..or if it would hold u back from persueing anything..try not to get too deep into it lol
But clifton, let's just say (for arguments sake) that mercury's shadow just HAPPENED to at least cover one quarter of the moon at the same time that Mars was on the opposite side causing a huge graviational pull, about thirty degrees askew of the earth's surface that time? What about THEN?!?!?!?!Quote:
