    What attracts women

I recently met a very attractive lady who I have been out with a few times and told her the other night that it would be nice if we could be more than just friends.

She replied that she didnt feel the same way and that we wouldnt work because amongst a few other things she felt I didnt have a strong enough personality to deal with her as she was a very difficult person.

While I accept that this is probably the case, she also mentioned that what was offputting was that she felt that I sometimes acted in a way that was offputting and out of character. She preceeded to explain that she felt me saying that certain women on the tv were hot didnt suit my image (although she did also comment on a few guys). She also pointed out that I mentioned a couple of times about a few of my possesions I have collected although again she also admitted she name dropped regarding certain things she also posessed. I did admit that I was guilty of this, however, what I said was meant in only a joking way, i wasnt trying to demean her or women or try and boast about the things I am fortunate to have.

What puzzles me is that while she pointed these "flaws" ou, it would seem by her own admittence she is also guilty off it aswell (double standards?)

It also didnt help the fact that she came out of a bad relationship a year ago and reading between the lines, she now looks out for men who dont display any of the traits her ex did, i.e if someone said something it would be a case of "he used to say or do that"

Maybe she was looking for excuses and trying to let me down gently, perhaps, just seems maybe I was being compared in someway for her ex's treatment of her, I am not perfect and noone is.

I appreciate the fact that my comments may have appeared to rule her out as a partner, but I feel that if I would have worshipped her she would of accused me of being too needy.

    Your comments are welcome

Maybe she sat back and though about the content of your conversation and decided that while it may have been okay for an evening, this would not suit her as a lifestyle. She may be a nice lady, but that doesn't make her a good match for you.

For the record, listending to a man talk about who he finds hot and what toys he owns would not be my idea of a great first date either.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

Funny thing is she mentioned about her toys and even her ex boyfriends on the first date although I probably did mentioned something about women on the first date, cant remember fully now but it wasnt who was hot or humilating to women.

Just 'cause she did it doesn't mean it was a smooth move.

    Women aren't perfection y'know.

It's up to us to make sure they know that.

She sounds like major high maintenance.

    Move on.

She is making excuses to let you down as softly as she can, she finds you repulsive, as most very attractive women do towards men. Men loose composure around attractive women and act out of their element.
