That sounds nice and cushy but I think the rich look to the poor and see laborers.

^^ i agree with that statement but it's mostly in the states and more unequal countries, it's the way they are trained to look at them.

Who gives a shit! The man is dead. Just leave him alone. You freaking heartless imbeciles need help. How would you feel if this were someone you loved? Geez.

I'd be devastated.

But people die every day and I don't care about them. The only difference here is that guy's in the news and they aren't. And many of them were better people and more deserving of recognition. There are children dying of cancer as I type this. Nobody cares about them. Maybe for a brief moment you might see a picture or read a story that tugs at your heart strings, but minutes later you've forgotten.

I'm not going to mourn the life of some creep because my society chose to raise him to the status of godhood. Not when there are countless others more deserving of my attention. Hell. He wasn't even relevant any more. The man was a ****ing joke. Then he dies and people forget what they used to think of him.

Again. I hate people.

I was hearing on the radio today that those of us living in Los Angeles can expect all the psychos to come out and watch the funeral procession that will extend all the way from Los Angeles up the coast through Santa Barbara to Neverland, where there will be a funeral service for anyone who wants to attend.

Traffic will be even more horrific than usual.

Its very unfortunate that Michael Jackson wasnt able to do at least one concert befor passing away. I think he would have least made a good come back and then gone with glories. I'm still sadden by it.

Hey, I liked Thriller. I liked his style back in the 80's when he was still human.

However, if I'm going to shed a tear for someone who has departed, if I am going to lament the loss of a stranger on Facebook or here in a thread, it will sooner be someone like this: http://www.ocregister.com/articles/pixar-up-movie-2468059-home-show

Not a guy who could dance pretty good and who may or may not have raped little boys.

Death happens... everywhere... all the time... and it's unavoidable.

How much time is a person expected to give to commemorate the passing of someone? How long do you really want to be reminded of your own mortality?

Too much attention given to death just increases the likelihood of depression.

Michael Jackson was the definition of controversy. He was a very strange man that will lead to even more speculation about his peculiarities long after his death. There you go.

Now on to the next subject... preferably about what matters more --- the living.
"The weakest soul, knowing its own weakness, and believing this truth that strength can only be developed by effort and practice, will, thus believing, at once begin to exert itself, and, adding effort to effort, patience to patience, and strength to strength, will never cease to develop, and will at last grow divinely strong."

Michael Jackson may have been abit odd but he did more than just sung well and dance. He broke racial barriers as a visible minority (yeah yeah the surgery), made ties with people from all kinds of background regardless of race and even created The Heal the World Foundation a charitable organization.
