Should I Cut My Losses?

I was seeing a guy few years back('05)..things didn't work out at first, but we BOTH agreed to try to build a relationship('07). I figured I was doing my part, so I kept suggesting that we should meet up, and he would agree. Then, when it was time to do so--he had an excuse. So, for the last time I tried to go see him (last Aug.) and--HE told me (in his exact words) he didn't "want to see me, but...". So out of anger, called him some names. I haven't heard from him since then.

Thing is, I think about him, and would like to reconcile possibly(friends would be nice), but on the other hand, I didn't like the way I was treated, and would like to stay away. I just didn't understand why he couldn't be honest with me and why I was treated as such. I would like to have questions answered by him, but I'm afraid he's not going to say anything! Should I TRY to see if he would like to reconcile or just leave him alone? :upset:

You can try sending a one line message "Hi, how you been? What's new?" and see if there's a reply and if there is go from there.

Though, it's been a year since you last spoke, don't expect much from it.

leave him alone. if he wanted to be with you, he would make the effort.

Yup, forget about him and save your dignity. He knows how to reach you; he just doesn't want to.
