ok i met this guy, we be came friends then we had a FWB relationship, we broke it off cuse he said he let me get to close. so now he just wants to be friends, he tells me im beautiful all the time, he calls me all the time, when we are together he cant keep his hands off me . hes always rubing my shoulder or neck trying to touch/hold my hand ..i dont get it he keeps saying friend but acting like more..whats up with that?
The big problem with FWB relationships is that there is a high risk that one person may become romantically attached while the other is just there for the friendship and the sex. It seems that's what he is struggling with right now ... he misses the sex (hence his behavior), but doesn't want to get hurt by getting into a one-sided romance.
Why aren't the two of you in a romantic relationship?

FWB a compromise that cheats both out of a chance to find a meaningful relationship... The time wasted on a ****-buddy could be used to find someone who really means something to you...
We only have a limited amount of time to hopefully find the person we really want to be with.
Why people get tangled up in something like this is a mystery to me... It's practically one step above prostitution --- where you pay the person to leave afterward and not get attached to you. In this case, you don't even pay them...

hey thanks all 3 of you had some good points. the reason we are not in a meaningful relationship is he dosen't want one so he says. i just dont get it he says onething then dose/act the opposite but i guess the main thing is we are friends even if he is confusing.

There are quite a few reasons [as you've seen above] for his behavior.. but if I were you, I'd be less focused on trying to dissect his feelings, and more focused on giving him what he wants.
He wants to be friends? Then he needs to act like a friend only. If he's got his hands all over you, tell him to stop. He's the one who wanted to end the FWB situation and has told you he doesn't want a relationship-- so why are you still giving him some perks?
