In general the longer the relation was, the longer it takes to get over it. Some people say it takes about half of the time you were together to get fully over someone.
Usualy the first 3 to 5 weeks appear to be the hardest.
It also depends a lot on how the person acts after the relation is over.
People who keep on living in the past need in general more time to get over a relation.
At least that's how I understand it.
I think it depends on how long you were together and how they treat you after the breakup. We were together for 9 months, although we both kinda liked eachother for 5 years (half of that was puppy love). The first 6 weeks were the hardest for me, but since after the breakup he treated me like shit i got over him fast due to a guy who knows how to treat a lady (not rebound, dw).
