This isn't a real relationship. Only thing I can suggest is therapy for your depression. Please deal with that and soon.

You need to end this relationship and seek help. You're obviously insecure about yourself and created a fictional you for a fictional boyfriend (I know he's a real guy but this is over the internet so he might as well be fictional). You tried living in a fantasy land to escape the real you and your real life.
Go to therapy/counselling and deal with your depression. Learn to accept who you are and most importantly learn to love yourself. You'll never find happiness if you don't take these steps. Once you've achieved this you'll be ready for a real relationship.
