Great ..and 5 paragraphs of side effects. Type 2 diabetes ...that doesn't sound to much fun. "cardiac arrhythmias and cardio protection after myocardial infarction" .. that doesn't sound like the effects I want either. Heart failure? No thanks . "nausea, diarrhea, bronchospasm, dyspnea, cold extremities, exacerbation of Raynaud's syndrome, bradycardia, hypotension, heart failure, heart block, fatigue, dizziness, abnormal vision, decreased concentration, hallucinations, insomnia, nightmares, clinical depression, sexual dysfunction, erectile dysfunction and/or alteration of glucose and lipid metabolism" ..sounds like fun stuff right there..especially the last part where your entire glucose and lipid metabolism can go to hell...taking you with it. They also block adrenaline and the "fight or flight" response gets reduced......wtf man.....got anything else? You got my hopes up.Quote:

Sigh..... can I get these over the counter?
The point of beta-blockers is to actually block adrenaline (nor-epinephrine)..Quote:

It's the release of adrenaline that causes you to feel nervous!
Professional Singers/Actors/Dancers take beta-blockers initially to cope with stage-fright..
Public-Speakers used to take beta-blockers on the regular; but now prefer to take a less dependant & more natural approach and go to stress-fear reduction workshops that target the issue of public speaking specifically..
In any case, like any drug.. you have your side-effect cocktail.. heart-failure, blah blah.. anal bleeding.. blah blah.. death.. etc..
Truth of the matter is; this should NOT be a long-term crutch (solution).. it should only serve as a temporary aid to help with initial approach anxiety and nervousness you may feel when talking with women or strangers..
Is it over-the-counter.. i'm not sure; i've never had to take it, but it's best to just speak to your doctor and tell them you are giving a musical preformance and have stage-fright and if there's anything he can recommend to perhaps help with that temporarily.. (beta-blockers is the first and only thing that will flag off in his mind)
EDIT:
- Is there a hot girl you just saw?
- Nervous about going over and talking to her?
- Is approach anxiety constantly holding you back?
- Feel like a goof everytime you talk to women?
- You're not alone; millions of Americans suffer from _____
- Luckily; there's Falaxzyl!
- Falaxzyl is not just a beta-blocker, unlike other medications, Falaxzyl is the only one that actually targets the _____ to ______ ...
- Falaxzyl is not for everyone; tell you doctor if you are taking other beta-blockers or AMOIs..
- In rare cases, Falaxzyl has been shown to cause zero "last minute resistance" in women..
- Side-effects may include...
- (5 minutes later)
- So! Ask your doctor is Falaxzyl is right for you!
OK First thing
DO NOT follow any advise that has you paying for anything or screwing anything that you don't know. Do you want to end your sex life before it even begins by getting an STD????? Do you want to look back on your life and remember that as your FIRST moment ummmm no!
You have either waited or saved yourself for this long a little longer wont hurt.
Stag shop!!!There has to be something that can tie you over that you have not tried yet.
Where can I get this Falaxzyl?Quote:

Anyways, I want their to be something that not just stops my fear of approaching women...I want something that tells me "F*ck approaching women." You don't need women and men. I want to be gay...but not gay...I want to view women the way I view men.....basically I want something to take the "sex" out of me. It would rock, I wouldn't be a prisoner of this BS and could just sit down and care free do NOTHING...like I should.
First of all, Falaxzyl was a joke.. I was just trying to copy the typical drug ads..Quote:

:D So, you want total freedom and detachment from the desire to have sex?
I have to say, i'm very impressed with you.. This is actually one of the final ways to being truly content.. when you eliminate the desire for sex, when you free yourself of the "need/urge" it causes, and you have full control of when you want to (and don't want to) have sex..
It's actually a remarkable sense of freedom you feel.. forget talking to women and getting numbers/dates/etc.. this goes beyond that.. When you free yourself from this, you radiate it.. any perceived notion that someone can control you or tool you by "witholding sex" as a bargaining chip is removed.. but beyond that, you actually flip the tables on them! it is YOU that is in full control of your sexual desires, so SHE has to give you enough motivation for you to have sex with her.. SHE has to get on YOUR good side.. (if need come to these temporary antics & games; you'll have the absolute advantage)
The best way you can get this is by studying Hinduism & Buddhism; (not as a religion).. but the principles and values as a way of life..
Also, take up a martial-art (seriously) that is meditation-rich.. I've studied Kaze Arashi Ryu, (Aikijujutsu).. but most schools of Aikido/Aikijujutsu/ & "Shaolin Styles" will incorporate deep trance-like meditation as part of regular training required to progress..
Remember; "Mind over Body".. you can't allow your body's urges to control & bend the will of your mind.. your mind must be in absolute control & have unyielding dominance over your body (while being respectful of the body)..
Don't go overboard with this.. don't fast yourself to starvation, don't isolate yourself to depression, and don't sentence yourself to sexlessness just because you have the mental dominance to do so..
But this detachment from "sex" is one of the most important INTERNAL changes that has to take place for you to feel content.. and i'm really glad you've touched upon that..
Well, the problem is not not meeting strangers. I meet lots of people, and am very out-going. I meet gorgeous girls here and there, but I never bother asking them out. Like Grk said, masturbation kills the incentive to go out. Yet the problem is stopping masturbation. How can a 20 yr/old guy stop doing it?... I've tried, and its just self-torture! lol... sad but true.
And DoesntMatter, I don't go to Dartmouth or Cornell... I visited Dartmouth last summer, and I got to give you that they have lots of very attractive girls.
Cornell girls are way hotterQuote:

Not only hotter, but EASY! Wow, they are by far the most shame-less and easiest lays in all 50 states.. (then again; when the average graduate took 5.5 years to get her 4-year degree, I wouldn't expect any less)
Same can be said by a smoker, or drug addict; and the reason is because you're addicted to the (very small; YES, very small amount of pleasure you're getting from it).Quote:

It's an addiction; and you know the first step in getting over addiction;
ACCEPTANCE
I could understand if there was something wrong with you; and you were ugly, and a social reject of sorts, and prefered to masterbate than to actually go out and get some women.. but you don't fit into that category.. so the sooner you say bye to this bad habbit, the sooner you'll be enjoying yourself more (sexually)
I'm not patronizing; I don't judge, don't feel like i'm looking down on anyone; I talk about this stuff to everyone, including my brother.. this is what male-to-male advice is all about.. so just take that first step to change..
I took Aikido for 2 years until I decided that I would like some competition and now I still train in MMA. Anyways, no matter how care free I get about sex mentally I still get urges that are forced on me. Than there is something else, something that tells me.."get out there!" ..."do something" ...and it is this feeling in the gut that can't be helped...doing anything at home feels pointless no matter how much I like it and this feeling only causes depression. I hate it, I don't know what it is.Quote:

"Students who begin at public 2-year institutions must transfer to another institution in order to complete a 4-year degree. Students who did so took about a year and one-half longer to complete a bachelor's degree than students who began at public 4-year institutions (71 versus 55 months), and almost 2 years longer than those who began at private not-for-profit 4-year institutions (50 months)."
...it sounds like your best bet for "easy" women is in a community college.

I think the student body in a community college is probably more economically diverse, and many students have additional financial/personal responsibilities as compared to students in a university. Sure, plenty of college students are dumb. Plenty of university students are, too.
My previous post was made because I scoff at the idea of degree completion time being related to likelihood to engage in one night stands.Quote:
