The media influence people severely. You must be skinny, successfull in your career, have a mortgage, 3 cars on the driveway and 2.3 children.
Out of the box thinking is discouraged because you have to fit into group X,Y or Z.
If you can't accomplish that, there's a pill to cure the problem.
