Even though I love him and we have some wonderful times, I have been thinking very seriously about ending things with him lately. I think he's ignorant and he has all kind of preconceived notions. If he would have had a bad opinion about pole dancing (it's not uncommon), but still cared about what you wanted to do, I think he should have made some "research" about what pole dancing for fitness really is - instead of jumping into conclusion.
