It's ok, even if you were to apologize, it would not have been genuine, so I'm glad you did not say it. This arguement is over as of now. It's petty, and there's more to MY life than arguements via internet over something that will never end. Best of luck to you and yours.

If someone were to lose a lot of weight and had extra skin, they'd consider that an imperfection and they wouldn't feel better about themselves until it was removed. There are plenty of women that feel better about themselves once they have an elective surgery.

Sure. People would feel better right after they got that "imperfection" fixed but it won't last. Pursuing perfection is never a finished task.

Not everyone that goes for elective surgery is seeking perfection. I had a mole that was on my upper back that was overgrown. I didn't like it and so I got it removed. I've not once been tempted to get surgery again. Does that mean that I'm now going to be going after perfection for the rest of my life?

This reminds me of body dysmorphic disorder, where people are never satisfied with how they look no matter how many surgeries they have. Like Wacko Jacko.

I saw a BBC doc on this and it was riveting. There was this one young woman who was on her seventh nose job, and she had looked perfectly pretty with her real nose. Somehow her disorder caused her to believe that she was hideously ugly. Even after the nose jobs she still hid her face behind the brim of a hat or her hair and would not appear on camera because she thought she looked so disgusting. It was very sad.

I believe i saw the same thing you're talking about. I was like wow, there are really disorders like that? I thought it was just called having an all time low self esteem

I've mentioned this a couple of times already, but that Brazilian I was with overseas had big fake cans. They weren't that bad actually, I didn't mind them at all. The looked natural, they just felt a little different. But still, if I had the choice I'd go for small natural over big and fake.

But still, when I see a girl with breast implants there's a part me that's like "wow, that chick's gone and pimped out her body." There's a part of me that respects that.
