personally i think that you should let a little of the tattoo peak out just a bit... it adds mystery and curiosity. i dunno about most guys, but if i see a tat peaking out at me, i just want to see the rest of it.

well that ones going to be hidden since my parents will have a heart attack. First generation asian parents are crazy...lol. at least my dad is, he will flip balls no matter what age i am. It won't be the only tattoo though, i want a few but those are going to wait because they're larger and i'm not sure which ones i'll be getting yet.
illusional, you thought i was a dude at first? lolllll what gave you that impression?
shiet, you're telling me... my hid my tattoo from my mom for a few years.. .and my dad didn't know about it untill last year.... come to think of it, i had mines since 03. i know all about asian parents, trust me.

baby or not, when it comes to asian parents, they all are the same. they are harsh on the outside, but you know that they love you and will never disown you.Quote:

i'll tell you this, my mom is from japan and when she saw my tat, she cried her eyes out. she told me that it represented the yakuza and all that other bullshit. however, she still hates it to this day, but she got over it. shit, my tat is half of my back... try hiding that for a few years... haha

That's true. My mom is a sweetheart but she kinda has to go along with my dad on everything and he would actually disown me for quite a few things. Especially disrespecting the family reputation....ahhh asian parents and 'respect'...
My 2 cents is that you don't get tattoos. You look very pretty the way you are right now
it's a good thing that 2 cents can't buy you anything in this world today, otherwise your opinion would matter...
anyhow, i hightly doubt that your father would disown you. it's just a threat that every parent used to keep this children in check.

ummm, my dad has threatened to kill me before. I don't remember what i did but it wasn't all that serious...or else i would remember.
haha.... this has got me wondering, if you're so afraid of your parents, why are you even considering getting this tattoo??Quote:

secondly, do you honestly believe that your father will kill you?? coming from his perspective, he will say anything to keep his youngest daughter in check. i have known some pretty protective parents, and i just think that your father is one of them.
either that, or your father still has this tough boy image.

Thanks DM, well i'm still considering all opinions...but the one on the hip is for sure. Besides it's a tiny one, i can't imagine how much i could regret that.Quote:
