My dog died

I ran over and killed my beautiful dog. I was mortified and felt so bad. I have the worst guilt. My boyfriend who lives 5 minutes from me didn't even call me. It happened at 6 o'clock and he called me the next day at 8.30

I only got a text of him. He wasn't at work as it was the weekend
am I wrong in feeling hurt by his actions

Sorry should have said he rung me at 8 30 at night the next day.

Sorry for the loss of your dog ~ that is very sad. You didn't see your dog obviously so you shouldn't be hard on yourself, your dog knew you loved them. Your bf though, its his job to comfort & support you if he can't manage that simple task then how much of a bf is he?

I think he did suicide.

On the bright side its better than a guy who ran over his wife while going backwards in his backyard. He didnt see her too and she died.It was on haloween so at first I thought boy who dressed like death took her.

At least he did die fast. Its harder when you see your dog old and he just slowly fades away.

That's a bummer, but honestly guys just don't "feel" in the same way that women do, and if we try to actually "care" and show emotion in a relationship, that's when we get bailed on. So, just be happy he called you at all, I probably wouldn't of anyways, mainly because I really dislike dogs to begin with, but that's just me.

If he lives only five minutes away and you I assume told him directly what you had done and that your dog died, why wouldn't he drive or walk over at least to see you and help you? I always thing in bad times is when you know who loves and cares about you.
