Appropriate summer clothes to wear in Thailand?

I’m going to Thailand for one of the Asian legs of the romance singles tours I’m attending. My suitcase is already starting to get filled with clothes but I’m not sure if I brought the right ones. There’ll be a city tour as well so I want to have the appropriate clothes when we visit local tourist spots. Are they strict with the wardrobe there? Will tourists have to wear what the locals are wearing? The tour falls on a summer. How hot will the country be during that time? Will it be fine if I wear short pants instead of trousers? Are muscle tees okay to wear when walking around?

I’ve heard they’re kind of strict in some places and that’s what’s making me worried. What are the acceptable clothing in Thailand? I need help and suggestions.

tourist are expected to follow local laws only and there is no dress code requirements. thailand is very hot during the summer so most people residents and tourists dress lightly. shorts, thin tops and sandals mostly

The humidity averages just under 90%, with temperatures averaging around 29 degrees Celsius in a very wet and rainy summers in tropical Thailand with May being the hottest month
