it seems i'm in the minority here but i don't see anything wrong with checking out public information. There are some crazy people out there and even by doing a "google" on someone can produce a lot of info. now if you've been friends with them for some time it might be a bit more offensive but if this is a first date and you don't know them it might be good to know exactly what you are getting into. it can save you a lot of grief b/c you don't know what someone else is hiding. i had a date with someone that i met at a coffee shop. put his name into google. state supreme court case came up...he was convicted of soliciting minors for sex. So don't feel bad about trying to get to the truth.

I was hoping maybe she was like 45 and trying to pull off 30. Then, his suspicion might be justified, especially if he was wanting to get married and have babies.

Or maybe she was 15 and telling him she is 21...
