What that means to a guy varies from guy to guy it could mean he is seriously inlove or it could just be a quick way to get into your knickers so you have to read in between the lines and hopefully you will make the corect judgement.

when you tell a woman you're in love with her, what does that mean to you? Does it mean you are thinking seriously about her (ie, living together/marriage...)?

I've been forced into saying it because she did first, and asked: 'do you love me?'............after half a dozen cases of me changing the subject and talking about the ever increasing mould spot on the ceiling you'd think she would have got the message but noooo
