Vashti - I do not act like the girl isn't good enough for me. I act in a respectful and gentleman like fashion at all times. I DO respect females. I am not one of those guys that say oh this btch this and this btch that. But if a girl starts putting me down and acting like she is SUPERIOR to me, or going on an ego trip which is unreasonable and sometimes downright rude, I get a problem with that.

    Example 1:
me - So lets get some coffee sometime
her- Thanks I appreciate it but I'm taken.
or - I'm really sorry but I'm not interested in dating

me - oh ok that's fine, lets study for the exam together then I need a study partner anyway.

however, if the girl gives me an attitude ...

me- so i usually eat lunch in weinstein dining hall at 12;15...feel free to join me anytime.
her- *giggle* I'm always busy. *giggle*
or - I don't know about that I don't usually eat..lunch...u know....i actually never eat. and im always busy.

you KNOW which girls im talking about...

Why waste your time caring about it?

It's already been said before but just be more friendly than usual towards people you like. Flirt with them and see what happens.

What i like to do is test the persons inner space. Something like placing your hand next to theirs , or brush your leg by theirs and watch the persons reaction.
If the person retracts their hand or moves away from you suddenly, they may feel
unconfortable with you invading their inner space. But.... if the person doesn't
move, they are at least comfortable with you being close to them.

It's not a sure sign someone likes you, but usually if people are attracted to eachother, they wouldn't mind being close to one-another.
