I just got contacts today! I've been mildly short-sighted for the last six years or so, but I never wore my glasses unless I was driving at night.

Lately though, my eyes have gotten a bit worse and I was finding myself squinting at the tv and struggling to read the menu in McDonalds.

I can't believe how good they are. I've been walking round all day feeling like I've got super-vision, I had no idea how bad my eyes had gotten. Even now, as I look out the window I can see each individual leaf on the tree across the road.

I even wore them surfing today. I could perve on chicks from 400m with these bad boys. Before they were just blurry masses of flesh at that distance. And you can barely feel them.

I think glasses can be sexy! If theyre the right frames on the right face, they can be hot! There are so many great styles!

My hubby is sexy in his glasses. and without. Hes thinking of lasik surgery.

Yeah I will probably get that eventually. But you have to remember DM's not well-aged professional, he's 18 and so are the girls he's trying to bed. I reckon he should get contacts.

Glasses can be cool and annoying during the initial moments of passion. They're not practical to have on while your kissing, but taking them off is like throwing down the gauntlet.

i've always found that at least being clean cut and fresh and looking presentable while having your own taste of clothing and how you feel is best. trying to dress up too much to impress someone in something you wouldnt normally do looks desperate, yet being too much yourself may be....i dont know....unpresentable and careless

If I get contacts (which I am going to this winter) it wouldn't be like I was losing glasses, just adding the option of contacts that I don't have right now.

I am too. But I'm still worried about longterm effects, cataracts, etc. Anyone had this, or know someone, who had it done?

Everyone I know who has had it done says it's wonderful, but I'm still leery.

So what I want to know is this because this it's the most pressing issue I have right now: Should I wait until I "spruce up" to start talking to this girl so I up my chances or approach her now? If the answer is now then I will within a week and let you guys know what happened
