I agree with Missleepy. You don't really know their relationship is bad. You probably only know the bad stuff because she perhaps complains about it to her friends when she needs support. She probably has alot of emotions invested in this guy to be with him for over 3 years.
What do you hope to accomplish, OP. You've moved away, so I'm not sure I understand why you want to reveal your feelings all of a sudden to her. How far apart are you now?
