If a guy, who you suspect likes you having only about 4 conversations, comes up and says, "What would you say if I said I like you?"

I am curious. Your answers determine how I act but don't hold back. I want your oppinion, not sympathy (not trying to sound rude). Nothing you can say can hurt my feelings so be honest please.

i would find that immature, i mean unless your in highschool (which you may be) no one is really gonna go up too someone and ask 'what would you say if i said i liked you?'. its petty school crap

I am sure she knows I like her, I see the way she has looked at me, it is unmistakable. What should I do, how should I do it, what should I say. I know I may be moving fast, but if I don't pick up the pace I will be left in the dust and I want at least attempt to be with her.

Just tell her you like her. Don't do it in the form of a question though.

just take her somewhere where you can talk to her and just lay it out on the table, tell her how you feel about her and say i wanna get to know you better would like to come on a date and take things from there

"hey (girls name), how are you? (thats good etc) hey look theres been something ive been meaning too tell you, i find you very attractive and interesting and was wondering if i could grab your number and we organise a date of some sort? what do you say?" short, simple and makes it easy for her to give an answer.

I might change it a little, "hey (girl's name), (something that would create a conversation). Hey, I've been wanting to tell you for a while now that I really like you and I was wondering if I could get your number, maybe go out sometime. What do you say?"

I have been avoiding words like 'attractive', 'interesting', 'hot' because they seem too strong, I might be wrong but its a personnal feeling. I feel that like has the same effect but a smoother sound.

Don't tell her you find her attractive; in the context of this conversation, the timing would be wrong (unless she is extremely vain). Just tell her you like her, and want to take her out to dinner (or whatever).

i'd say 'how do you know?' (ie how do you know you like me) and i would want specific personality details that you like.

i'd smile of course while saying it to see what you would say back. basically i would put you on the spot to see if you had any wit or intelligence....harsh of me to do probably, but i'd keep smiling to try to make you feel comfortable.

it's not the best approach for you but it does spark a conversation at least....depending on the girl

The more I read posts here on LF, the more I realize how complicated women really are. Sometimes I dont even know what to say to the guys when they come and ask what to say to the girls. It's like approaching a whole different species. It's kind of scary lol.

How about as a conversation starter I ask about her art in art class?
I notice she is rather dedicated to some of her art. She has definatly taken an interest in mine, I have noticed 2 instenses when she has stopped to look at my art. I believe we had eye contact about 15 times last art class.
