What if Cat wants to borrow something from Tracy but Tracy, not owning it, borrows it from Mike to give to Cat? I think this is the root of Mike's thinking and he has a right to head it off at the pass. He's going to cause problems between him and his gf if he continues to try and tell her who to be friends with. Arguing your point is ridiculous since it's a hypothetical and hasn't occurred. So far, from what I gather, the only thing directly affecting him is his gf whining about Cat.
