What if Cat wants to borrow something from Tracy but Tracy, not owning it, borrows it from Mike to give to Cat? I think this is the root of Mike's thinking and he has a right to head it off at the pass. He still can't tell Tracy how to choose her friends but he can give his opinion on who he thinks this "friend" really is.

    His opinion isn't welcome.

He's going to cause problems between him and his gf if he continues to try and tell her who to be friends with. Arguing your point is ridiculous since it's a hypothetical and hasn't occurred. So far, from what I gather, the only thing directly affecting him is his gf whining about Cat.
    I don't chase, I replace.

    Don't see that happening.

Only if Tracy would stop using him as a sounding board for something she is obviously unwilling to change.

Since when is an opinion a one way street? As long as she continues to complain about the situation with her friend, he has a right to express his honest opinion.

Because it won't change anything. She's a woman and she's going to bitch about what she wants to bitch about. All he's going to do by opening his mouth is put kinks in their relationship. What's so hard about just shutting up while she bitches and letting her deal with this on her own?
