Don't cry, don't regret and don't blame
Weak find the whip, willing find freedom
Towards the sun, carry your name
In warm hands you are given
Ask the wind for the way
Uncertainty's gone, your path will unravel
Accept all as it is and do not blame
God or the Devil

The typical "red ring" actually refers to the 3 red flashing lights. Microsoft has put a blanket 3 year warranty on those systems and will replace those free of charge. I have a single red blinking light and I get the message on the screen that refers to "E 74". I looked it up, it's not the same.
Dopple: Videogames have always been a passion of mine, I really enjoy playing them, though as I've gotten older, I've become more particular about which games I play as I don't have as much free time as I used to.
I was considering volunteering with habitat for humanity, just to mix things up, learn and build something new.
That info was good aj. I've got a 7.2 at the moment, but its acting retarded. The screen is blank white![]()

I have a PS3 and other than wipeout HD and Ratchet and Clank the thing blows! I haven't used it in months
The xbox came with some issues and would often fail on people. The new models however do not easily do this anymore. I don't have one though, my brother bought my black Elite version and that thing doesn't wont to break for anything.
My favorite, though I don't think he is interested. PC always has the best versatility with game types. I love Sins of the Solar Empire, one hell of a space strategy game.

Fras, I know what you mean about not wanting to carry around the DSLR. I got a Canon DSLR last summer, and it is a bit clumsy especially when I'm traveling and it takes up 1/4 of my luggage space. But I absolutely love it. It's like the camera version of a stick shift - you feel like you're actually doing something rather than letting the camera decide everything.
As much as I used to enjoy PC games, a desk top is not something practical to my lifestyle at current, and a gaming laptop in my opinion, simply isn't worth the money.
My investment in consoles stems not only in their convenience, but the ability to play with the other 3 people in the room as well as on-line if I choose.
I know real camera enthusiasts will press their love of the DSLR's, and I considered one, but I just can't see myself walking on to my job site with a huge expensive camera hanging around my neck while I'm running pipe on top of a ladder.
And I love driving stick.
Left 4 Dead is a fun one, its pretty much a zombie shoot em up, but hey its fun.
Fear is pretty creepy, I played that one through...those invisible things that drop down off the ceiling into your face did me in. Unload with a shotgun.

Yeah, L4D is definitely a PC game, it's far too fast for the consoles.
Personally though, PC or console aside, I was hoping the game's pace would be slower, like old style zombies.
Resident Evil 4 style would be great. The part where you're holding that farm house and they're streaming in from downstairs and trying to climb in with ladders was intense! The controls and pace were perfect for the speed of the "zombies" in that game.
I hope Resident Evil 5 has a similar survival mode to that of L4D.
I always prefered the older RE games over the 4th one. I liked the tank controls and survival horror of the old ones, oh well. L4D is made by Valve, what do you expect? they have been making PC games forever now. The frame rates were twice as good also though and it just ran better in general. Faster loading on my PC as well. RE4 on the PC sucked, it was good on the console.

Oh! I just thought of something else!
I've been thinking about building my own little circuit board, so that I can practice lighting and power circuits.
I think that would be fun, and useful for my profession.
Nah, I agree. It doesn't make sense in most situations. I was going to buy one earlier than I did and then I thought, "I'm going to be out in the hinterland with no electricity to charge the bats, I'll probably break it hiking...", etc, and then I saw how many other people had them and did just find toting them around and decided it would work for me, but I can't take it anywhere social - I bring it out for walks once in awhile to take pictures. Like it's a dog.
I would've loved to get a film SLR, actually. I love film and the excitement of getting pictures back, but I thought DSLR was way more practical. Besides, I can always use my mom's 25 year old Nikon.
Me toooooo. And I love driving stick.
Im really sorry to hear that about your xbox my boyfriend has xbox and if his died that would be the best thing lol. But its kinda good for me cause i just take naps when he plays haha.
