Do you have to ATTEND adult school in order to take a GED? Or can you just straight up sign up to be on a waiting list, and take the GED at a certain time and place?

i took a GED test when i came to cali at the age of 16. there's no waiting list. i got myself a GED preparation book at the library, studied a couple of nights and then called the Santa Monica location to schedule the soonest appointment and that was it. piece of cake.

How good of a student were you before you left, Steve? You don't really need to answer that here. Just consider it. If you were a good student you ought to be able to take the GED with minimal preparation. I'd suggest getting a book or just studying online.

If you had a bit of trouble in high school you might want to consider taking a class. Community colleges are your best friend right now. Your local college almost certainly has a program in place for people just like you. You ought to be able to take a quick online course that will prepare you and give you a taste of exactly what's on the GED.

I know a number of folks who dropped out of high school and jumped right into college. One of my friends is in Rutgers right now studying bio-engineering or something insanely cool like that.

Getting laid will come. Your early years in college teach you to think. Prior to college you've just been regurgitating information and mostly wasting time. Once you can think you'll find it's much easier to pick up women. Plus there are loads of hot babes in college and they're just starting to get sick of the dumb jocks they used to go for in high school. If you smart up you'll be able to take your pick of the litter.

    My local CC? what is that? ;-;

Nope. You don't have to be 18. At least not in Maryland and I doubt there's a state dumb enough to prevent people from furthering their education. But then again I wouldn't be that surprised if there was.

Yeah. Call up your community college and talk to them. They'll help you out.

Community college. And there are no age restrictions for attending college.

My husband is a chef. It can be grueling, but learning how to cook is never a waste of time. He doesn't cook professionally any more, though. Now he teaches at our local community college in the culinary arts program. You know, where you should go.

I don't have time for AIM and such. I have a full-time job, I'm taking classes and I have a ten-year-old. It's either right here on LF or nowhere.

^^^ What he said. Half your problem is that the pool of females available to you are mostly a bunch of freaking idiots with their heads up their own asses. ****, I wouldn't go back to high school either.

If you're really interested in a porn career, I might have some bad news for you. One of my old friends (who used to work on a cruise ship with me, ahem, Indi) produces porn in San Diego now. He told me that they've got guys offering to do straight porn for free, but they don't really do much of that because all of the money is in gay porn. Unless you're willing to do gay-for-pay, I'd shelve the porn career idea.

so what you are saying is that no one in the US is another horny loser?? hahaha...

you're just as common as every other male teen who can't wait to stick their dick into a vagina.. or anus for some of those special people.

anyhow, you're a depressing person who seems like he's not willing to do anything to get some pussy. strangely enough, even bums who pack together gets laid once in a while. you just have to try.

In the world full of sex or porn attraction, not to mentioned 17 year old young guy couldn't resist the temptation but the mature adult hardly fight it off.
The only way you could get a good and great girls friend are you start make yourself stay worthwhile and add more value to your life, since you like to be a chief, why not setting this as your 1st step towards your goals.
After all, if you could do very well and become a famous chef, you need not be ask to have a girls friend but you would been surrounding by them all.
Famous Chef or Porn Star it is your choice to make.

    @ the OP.

Oh, crap, keep it simple, dude:

    + Get back to school
    + Get a job
    + Make money

...girls will follow by themselves. They usually do.

I'm 17, high school drop out, no car, no job,
Do you at least look hot?
I mean it's gonna be important if you don't have anything else and especially if you wanna become any kind of star. Get your body into shape, go take photos and submit them to a modelling agency but not some scam which asks for money but like DNA, Ford, Elite -model management. This would be a good start..
I know everyone n this forum hates me for the importance i place on "looks" but maybe in your case my advice IS reasonable..
and (especially with modeling agencies)--just don't give up.
