So I have yet to go see this movie as my friend who really likes underworld refuses to spend money on movie tickets.

Anyone here an underworld fan and saw it or just went and saw it?

Good/bad? Kate Beckinsale not being in it already hurts, but was the movie actually good?

I liked it. It's too bad that Kate Beckinsale wasn't in it, she really made the film. But it was still very watchable and entertaining. Not as good as the first two, but if you are a fan you should see it.

I like the guy who plays Victor. Coolest vampire ever.

I am IN LOVE with Kate Beckinsale so was sad to see her not in it, but glad they didn't replace her, just set the story in the past.

Like Mish said it wasn't that bad. It could have been a lot worse. If you're a fan of the series it's worth checking out.

The story also refers to Victor's daughter, who the main character reminded him of, and thus they are the same actor.

Its a decent film, watch it if you're an underworld fan, if not it's mediocre, not worth being with the big shots but still quite watchable.

And I dont think that it was a "cheap follow-up" seeing as they made almost identical references in the first movie to scenes that take place in this last one, pretty sure that it was planned all along.
