Being awake and Love

Being awake is knowing the we are incharge, that we control the outcome.
Being awake is knowing that we are the creator of our life.
It's waking up from the illusion that we are not in control, that we have to bare with what life is giving us and take it like it is a done deal, so we can't do anything about it.
Being awake is knowing we can do what we really want, and don't have to do what is dictated to us by the "Matrix".
Being awake is loving, is love to human kind and our universe.
Love for me is everything - it's passion, it's giving, it's happiness, it's humility, it's caring, it's accepting, it's participating, it's sharing, it's receiving, it's healing and more and more.

Love is something we feel physically and mentally to a thing or being. We don't really know what 'Love' is, that's why so many define it in many ways and even become poetic about it Love. We feel it and know that it's there. We simply just add meaning to it.. as with everything else in this world.
I believe that's what Love is.

As for being awake.. I am right now. And now going to sleep since I need some rest. So I wish you all a good night and luck with all of your future and current relationships.

I think we confuse this idea we call "love" with our "need" for human interaction on a personalized level. We like and crave this companionship because, historically, as we grow older and progress through life, others come and go. Everything is transient. We hang onto our companion as a measure of stability, to have someone to share ourselves with on a daily basis. We shouldn't do this because we can't stand on our own if we had to, but we should make this a conscious decision.

I choose to be with someone because they are special to me. I want them to know that the qualities I see in them are qualities that I love to be around. I get a pretty good vibe from most people, and most of my dating history consists of long-term relationships. There's been closure in just about all of them, and I always come away with a better understanding of the world and of myself. I don't begin to hate them because they hurt me. It is still sad when you have to let go of such a strong attachment especially when it is you who are still invested. But everyone is different and some people grow apart more easily than others. It's no one's fault. Just is.
