    Has anyone ever tried Botox?

    Or Juvederm or Restylane?

A friend of mine got it done and she looks amazing. I have always been afraid it would turn me into a frozen faced freak, but she just looks really well rested. I am thinking of trying it.....

I've seen lots of women with it. Generally speaking, they look great, but I am a little uncomfortable with the message it sends to younger women. Also, aging is a normal part of life, and I think seeing those wrinkles coming in is the best way to prepare yourself for old age, failing health, and eventual death. (Morbid, I know.)
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?

No its bad, it causes cancer and can kill you. I am surprised that stuff is even legal.

Never tried it, but I might not say no if it were offered. I got my grandma's worry line between my eyebrows. The possible side effects I've read about seem really scary.
So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
    Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
    Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?

My problem is I have to sleep on my right side, and I have kind of a crooked way of smiling too. As a result, my right side is more wrinkled than my left. I am still fairly young, so it is not too bad yet, but it is starting to bug me. I was also a smoker for about 15 years. So that didn't help......

I read that botox can help prevent future wrinkling, but I think I'll do a lot more research. I read an article today, which I can't find now, that said some scientists believe it accumulates at the base of peoples spines. They don't really know what the long term effects of that could be. Maybe a bunch of really young looking people with paralysis?

Haven't had it myself, being I dont have a wrinkle yet (lucky I know!!) but I know that it looks great when it turns out ok, and horrendous when it goes wrong or your body doesn't accept the treatment.
Finding a good surgeon for the procedure is important but bare in mind, it doesn't matter if they are the best in the world, there is always that chance that it wont look like you want it to look.

Not sure if I could go through with it when I'm lying on the operating table and all the doubts start flooding in!

Having said that... I'm a man. I don't have to worry about such things

Im 22 and use anti wrinkle cream at night. Its kept them at bay so far..which is lucky as iv had so much stress i should look like a 90 yr old!!!

Never say never, but its not something that appeals.
