im 19 years old and i have the hardest time getting girls to like me in the dating sense. In ways I'm very confused why. What are the most important parts of a guy that make a girl want to date him? I am really frustrated because I am successful overall. I'm on track to have a good job some day, I'm good at sports, I have a big sense of humor. As for looks, I'm above average height, pretty muscular, fair but not that fair skin. As for my personality, I'm usually a really nice guy...but at the same rate i have masculine interests, but I can definitely be sentimental. Another frustrating thing for me is that I have high standards. Since I am success oriented, I shoot for girls that have direction and are above average looking. No matter how much I want to, I can't like a girl that I consider below average looking. mainly on here to get some opinions on what girls really look for in a guy...i have this feeling im one of those guys thats desirable for marriage but not dating a bunch of girls...i'm just so confused. i know im young but im tired of being bad with girls

Peacock effect at your age. You need to be interesting and stand out from the crowd, but not in too weird a way.

The only thing we know about you is your muscular, you have a sense of humor and your nice...which is pretty much how every 19 year old guy would describe them self. Surely you can come up with a more interesting description of yourself. You're also shooting for girls that have direction and are above average in looks. But since they're 19/20, you'll be lucky to find both qualities present in one person. Unless you have the looks of George Pitt or Brad Clooney and the success of a 30 year old millionare, you might want to lower the standards a bit and practice dating ordinary girls first.

In all seriousness, a description of your hobbies/interests would help us. Also a description of your clothing style/picture would help as well. We have a bit too little to go on here.

i like all sports a lot, but my main sport is tennis and i play in college. otherwise im not artistic or musical..i like chilling out..used to smoke a lot but not anymore. im pretty much always playing a sport or working out and if im not, i'm hanging out with friends and doing random things. as for clothing goes, i wear ordinary clothes...jeans and a t shirt a lot, sports attire, occassional polo but im not preppy. also im 5'11" 180 lbs.
