    Dileima

I met this girl a while ago, we immediately clicked personality wise. We went out a few times, but i never wanted to do anything

The problem i face now is this. I personally feel that we would go great together. We always have a laugh, we are always joking with each-other and we are open towards each other. But the main issue for me, is weight. She is a bit on the chunky side. Mainly genetically. She has a great looking face though. But that weight issue kind of makes me feel a bit self conscious about what people think when i'm with her, not least my dad, who hates girls who are overweight. Every time i see her i see her weight, i forget about her personality, but when i text her, its perfect!

I feel like such a d**k thinking like this, but i cant help it

What do you think i should do? Go for it, or leave it?

Fact is, if i wanted there to be a relationship, there would be one

My question is: This weight problem is bothering YOU? Or are you more afraid of what others think? Maybe you can talk to her about loosing weight? Join a gym together? After all, being overweight is not too healthy, so you might do her a big favor by sticking by her side through this.

Well, very delicate subject. Is she trying to lose weight? If so, joining or helping her efforts is probably the way to go. If not, you might just want to stay away because it's a lose/lose situation if you try to get her to lose weight just for you. Makes her feel awful, makes you feel like a jerk, etc.

If she's comfortable how she is and you don't like it, just stay away. If she's trying to change, help her.
