tell me about it, i put on 10! pounds and went running last night. guess what, i only ran half a mile before i started feeling like i was dying with my throat spasming and not being able to breath. i hardly made it 2 miles most of the time walking.
children, the moral of the story is - smoking will eventually kill you as it did to me.

I was never really a fan of running or sport so I think even without cigarettes , I would suck at it![]()

My GF is trying to quit and it annoys the hell out of me, mainly because I don't understand the addiction thing. But also, she gets kind of grumpy and mean when she doesn't have her nicotine... she is so dependent on it. Sometimes she doesn't smoke for a whole week, and then decides to light one up, and she's back into it again. She asks me for help and support but it's driving me crazy. Either do it or don't do it. When I criticize her for not sticking to her own words (my idea of support), she gets all defensive and says "you act like smoking makes me a bad person" and I totally don't behave that way! And then she keeps justifying her giving in to her habits as "slowly weaning herself off", which is not what she's doing. You just have to stop smoking, there's no way around it. If you're smoking 2-3 cigarettes a day, you're still smoking and you're *still* a slave to your addiction, even if you think you have become less dependent on it.

I'm on 20 a day now, its just crept up and up. I really should try and quit but i enjoy each and every one.

You could at first try to reduce the amount . Smoke light cigarettes (if you smoke the strong ones ...) . I don't imagine you quitting from now on ,without reducing the amount first ...
