I actually still talk with my first love but to keep a picture in your wallet is rather weird and disturbing.

My first bf, who cheated on me, threw away all pics of me out of the blue while we were still dating, I was so confused then but now i know it was his way of trying to get me to break up with him so he could go off with another girl (just breakup dammit!) So he has no pics of me. I have pics of him though, from prom and senior pics and stuff, I keep them because despite the horrid breakup we still had a fun time together and now 5 yrs later we talk like we're old friends. I would, however, never keep them in my wallet! He is in the past and my wallet/purse is to hold things in the now! I dont even carry pics of my current bf in my wallet! If I found out an ex of mine was carrying pics of me in his wallet I would think it was hell of creepy.
Ric,
I still think it's weird. If you keep it at home, yes sure, that's fine. But really, you're with a new love and you're keeping the picture of your ex on you at almost all times? Nah, I'd say let it go, get a picture of your kids or new love instead and look at that old picture every once in a while.
Its beyond weird! 15 years and you have a pic of an ex in your wallet? You have issues
If he has it in his wallet he isn't over her yet.
I don't know... I have a pic of my ex in my wallet just because I never bothered to get it out. There's pictures of friends too, tickets, etc. I just like to stash more than money in my wallet I guess, haha.
^^^ extremely believable. I can imagine my brother keeping tons of shit in his wallet due to laziness. Still if you have a current gf, then either out of respect for her or to avoid a later conflict with her, it would be best to take it out.
that is weird
If I found a picture of my ex in my wallet that I'd forgotten about, I would take it out and shred it. If my husband found it, he would be really hurt.
