Why? I've seen threads locked up before but deleted completely???where is it?

Of course. If OP decided to delete his thread, all reply posts go to trash as well. How do you imagine a reply post to no thread?

I thought maybe the OP's opening post to the whole thread would go blank..yes it is logical but I never thought deleting a thread was possible on a public forum...as I said I've seen them locked before so I assumed this was the only option if an OP did not want to pursue the thread...
But it's good to know I guess especially if in the future I open a stupid thread I have regrets about
