My bf's birthday is coming up in Oct. and i'm not sure what to buy him

I suppose you've already thought of hobby related stuff / clothes / a watch if he wears one / a book umm... You can always cook and dress up for him, put on a show and stuff but I suppose you've already thought of that too. It probably woulda been easier to think of something if I knew him but as I don't I'm just thinking of general stuff.

Well that is the thing it's easy to take him somewhere and let him buy whatever he wants but i kind want to surprise him you know, and i am running out of ideas. I was thinking maybe take him to do something awesome like skydiving but i'm not sure how much that will cost.

That's what we do in my family. We found that it's more practical than getting eachother stuff that we don't really want/need.

Maybe you could ask one of his friends if he's mentioned wanting something in particular.
