What woud you do in this situation?

Met a girl on-line and we've talked about going to a concert......She agrees........Now Im finding out this show is sold out and tickets are running about $200 for a pair( minimum).

How do you get out of this with your balls intact?

Yeah...forgot to give you some info. Told her I'd get scalped tickets if it did sell out. Just didnt know they'd be this much.

Then tell her the price say you didnt realise it would be a little out of your reach atm.
Say we could do something else, its nice to go to a concert but that first set of dates should be a little more intimate,ie dinner etc its about getting to know each other.
She may not care about the concert yet she may be a gold digger its nice to have the chance to find out early before to many emotions get tied up.

Thanks. One thing I hate doing is flaking out but I cant justify spending $300 on a girl i dont know. The original Box office price was $30. I guess I should have know this....with the price of tickets and all these days.

Why are you spending money on this chick? Make her pay for half of it.

Say that the show is sold out and the price of scalped tickets is rather steep. Suggest another show and ask her opinion.

you haven't even met this girl anyways.....why pay $200 on a stranger when she may be someone you don't get along with at all and there will be no second date. Just tell her the truth.... If she gets mad....well you'll know that you don't even want to date her in the first place. If she truly still wants to go on a date even if there won't be a concert...well then thats cool!

I'm new to this forum so I don't know if I'm posting correctly!
Im in a bad situation. My boyfriend has a bad habit of promising to call and then doesn't.. We were also fighting too much and it got to the stage that he hid an overseas trip from me till the last minute thinking I was going to get mad (which I did)! He also refused to let me stay over one night when his daughter was there, stating he needed alone time with
her. When he was overseas, he promised to ring but there was none. No caring xx texts too. His texts were just telling
Me about what he was doing, none asking how I was.
I made the decision to have time to think which I told him. His reply was he agreed we both need time out and he
thinks it's stressful the fights. I asked him what time out was- was it time to think or a total break. No answer
I need to ask all of you whether I am too much of a girlfriend and asking too much from him??? Does time out mean a
Breakup? I just need to know to move on I'm feeling miserable
