    Signs of interest?

I worked the second time with my new colleague.
He kept coming to me to chat and teased me and joked with me a lot.
We both get off at 4.
At 4, I said I had to be somethere at 5, and he said he had to as well.
When we were told to do something around 4, he told the person asking him to do it:
"But I have to go soon. I have to be somewhere at 5." (Turned out he had to work elsewhere at 5)

The strange thing is, he told me "Hey, let me know when u finish."
So he waited for me to finish and we left together.
He asked me to wait for him as he went to the toilet.
Then he asked me "Do you want to drink something? I can treat you to it."
and I said no but he asked me again when he was getting it.

When I walked him to the bus stop, he said he could walk me to my bus stop.
I said I can just walk home, and he then said he will walk me home.
I said "Won't you be late for work? It takes 20 mins to get there by bus."
    (It was after 4:30PM already).
He said "It's ok to be late." and walked me back. It's strange because at our workplace,
it seemed like he had to rush to his new work soon, so he was a bit reluctant to do more work around 4.
Yesterday, we chat and joked a lot and he asked me lots of questions about me.
Then just before he left to take the bus, he suddenly looked sad like he didn't want to leave.

Do you think he is interested in me?

    Yes. Obviously.
Some people are drains and some are radiators... Keep clear of the drains and hug the radiators!

What gets me is that there are so many women who would question this mans behavior as just being nice.

Well, it's because he has a gf and also he said he's nice.

So, I thought maybe he likes his gf and he's just being nice to me.

The reason I opened this thread is not because I'm interested in him,
but rather I think we can be good friends if he doesn't like me romantically.
I enjoy chatting with him, however, if he likes me romantically, I have to keep a safe distance.

Yeah....he probably likes you romantically. Guys wont go out of their way for a girl they dont know unless there's a good reason.

I worked with him again, and this time he finished work before me..and I said bye to him.
Then he proceeded to chat with a colleague..then gestured to leave (stopped talking to the colleague) when I was about to leave.
Then he asked me where I'm going and I said I'm going grocery shopping,
then he just followed me even though he had to go work else where (He said it's ok to be late at work, however late, the boss doesn't care).

    He walked me home again...

My friend said maybe he just likes talking to me. What do you think?
