Anxiety and how it affects relationships.

    Hi,

I suffer from anxiety. Not the anxiety disorder, I just have a difficult time dealing with stressful situatutions. I lose control very easily and come across as crazy. I feel like I have completely pushed away a man because of it. He also suffers from anxiety. He would rather push someone away during bad times while I can't stop thinking about it and want to talk about it. I feel like he might never forgive me. Have any of you suffered from anxiety or been with someone who has? How did it affect your relationship? What did you do to overcome it? Also, have any of you been on SSRIs? How did they make you feel?

To over come it you need to be looking into therapy with a professional and possibly a short term use of medication, and relaxation exercises. Oh and never date someone that has the same issues as you.....no different than two drug addicts getting together....you both end up enabling your disorder because you both don't have stability.

You should get a prescription for Xanax. It will calm your crazy ass down.
