Your Race Affects Whether People Write You Back

An online dating site, did a study on how likely you are to get a reply based on your race. Apparently, black women don't have it too well.

How indicative of the real world do you guys think this study is? The sample size is pretty large (1 mil people I think) except the demographics of the study is supposedly "better-educated, younger, and far more progressive than the norm."

Considering that races generally stick to themselves--unfortunately--I'm not at all surprised. You're most likely to marry someone roughly your age, your race and your class. Boring.

I found it strange that Black girls had consistently less replies and Middle Eastern girls consistently received more by all races. I think I'd go for a second opinion on validity of this survey.

I'm not racist by any means, I'm a white guy and have several black friends, but in general I don't find black women attractive and have no interest in dating one. Are there great looking black girls, absolutely, but they just don't do it for me.

And what demographic would use online dating sites? Cover that before you try to attribute results from an online dating site to the real world.
