6 months studying abroad

Hi,

My girlfriend and I will be a couple for 6 months in December. However, I'll be leaving my country to study abroad for 6 months so I really want to give her a BIG surprise before I'm leaving. However, I'm completely unsure how to surprise her so much that she won't forget about me while I'm away. I want a surprise so that every time she misses me, she will think back to that very moment.

As a student, I however don't have a lot of money so the surprise should also be budget friendly...

Any suggestions?
