celibate for 5 months

I just don't see the point in it. you could be celibate by being single, why get into a relationship so you can be celibate? isn't having sex one of the perks of being with a romantic partner? and you have only been together for 6 days, a lot can change from now until July. that is still 5 months away... just something to think about

I was with her for 1 month here in Canada, and we grew a lot together.
It is a week now that we've been apart, as of today.

I know a lot can change, just bothers me how someone questions
me being celibate, when they don't even know me.

We're still in good contact, and keeping in touch quite a bit,
just the physical contact isn't there.
