What should I do about my ex girlfriend calling me?

She dumped me about eight months ago after a long relationship. Recently she started calling me. I would just let it go to voice mail, and then she sent me this text "hi I have an extra ticket to see the Warriors Bulls game this Friday. I could invite one of my friends but I thought you would enjoy the game more than anyone else. It's been a long time since I've seen you and I thought it would be nice to go together." Is she trying to be my friend, or is she crawling back?

My sister could do something like that. She might as well be friendly. You have to ask her, no wonder you both split up if after all this time you rather ask strangers rather than be open minded with your ex.

I'm unsure about it. I would have to feel it out. I have a lot of negative feelings towards her because of the break up. But I also can't ignore the fact that things were great for a long time. I also don't believe in friends with an ex. Witch is why I hesitate to even take her calls. I just got over her.
