Brothers > wife> girlfriend

Just a general questions to everyone who has a brother.

Would you put your brother above your wife or girlfriend, in a life or death situation?

No. Sad but true. I love my brother - even more importantly, I like him... but my wife'd come first.

I would take the wife over the brother, because if there's kids involved, they would benefit more.
Plus if you invested all that time to make your marriage work, well you and your brother will go your seperate ways eventually, even though you lived together all those years, I don't see the advantages of seeing him alive and not the wife.
I might sound selfish, but it realistically makes more sense to me.

If at all possible and only two people could survive? I'd put my lover and my brother over myself and perish. Maybe it just sounds dark, but my brother is an awesome guy that I like and love. He's my brother, so how could I not? And I know that if I had a boyfriend or a husband, I'd want that loved one to keep on living too because he'd mean a lot to me too.

However, if it was just the choice between my brother or my lover, I'd probably go with my lover so their family would not have to suffer a loss like that.

It's not about that. It's about a life outside of my family and, most importantly, someone I would love till death and beyond the grave
