Because we have to chase him. Because he's the hero Gotham deserves, but not the one it needs right now. So we'll hunt him. Because he can take it. Because he's not our hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark knight.
I'm inspired by the unrecognised everyday heroes who make other people's lives better for minimal or zero recognition - fame, financial or otherwise. Those who take in disabled or unwanted kids and give them love. Those who volunteer to help the homeless and/or mentally ill. Doctors and nurses working in 3rd world countries to help those in need. Gifted teachers who make a real difference in very low socio economic schools. And so on and so on.
These are my heroes.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.
The last one on my list was my 5th and 6th grade teacher. Mr. Wilbur made me realize that learning wasn't about school... that learning is what we do every day.

Superman was the top guy I wanted to be like him and still want but at some point I understood its a bit too much, still I get closer to be like him than I thought possible.
Now its like.

I'm too disillusioned for heroes.
Relax... I'll need some information first. Just the basic facts - can you show me where it hurts?
