Long Distance - Advice Please

Hi there,

About a year ago I moved to be with my girlfriend, to the city that she lived in. Previously we were in a long distance relationship which was difficult for both of us. Lately however she is having to travel with her job, and now she is going to be away for two months. I am going to struggle hugely with this, as I am in a city where I feel like I still know few people and my girlfriend and I spend alot of time with each other.

I basically want to know if anyone has any advice for surviving long distance? Especially in a city where I know very little people!!

Just look at it as a way for you to spend time with yourself and to experience new things on your own. If I were in a new city, by myself, I'd be thrilled.

You were able to survive the time that you were apart, I'm sure 2 months would be easy. Although being in a LDR is really hard. Just focus on other things and just maintain constant communication with her.
