    Dropping by unannounced

    Hi All

Do you think it's okay to drop by unannounced to someones house who you are dating? I dropped my friend off at her boyfriends house a little while ago and he didnt seem happy to see her. He didnt seem mad, just confused as if he didnt appreciate the visit without a call. They stood outside for a few minutes which I thought was strange but then he let her in. I called to make sure she was okay and she said yes but he was surprised she didnt call first and told her next time to call just as a courtesy. They have been dating for five months. It made me think. Why would he feel this way if he wasn't hiding anything? Do you all think this is unacceptable?

Why do you care, it's not your relationship. Don't get involved in other peoples relationships because it will backfire.

If I had nothing to hide, I wouldn't mind. It's actually cute and thoughtful.

When I was with a lying, cheating, douche of a man he insisted he "hated surprises". I wonder why? Oh yeah, because he constantly lied about being home.

I wouldn't drop by my mothers house without a call. Bad form and is obviously the work of a younger person

I think it's courtesy to let people know you are intending to visit
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.

No, it's not polite to do it.
Leave them some room for privacy.
