...to give everyone a quick hello and an update. I haven't been posting as much because I've been busy in my everyday life, but I have been reading everyone's posts. I just haven't had time to respond. But here's the dealio on me:

On the work front: I have found some freelance work to keep my rent paid. It's part-time and temporary but it will keep me somewhat employed through the rest of the year. So, hurray for that.

On the romance front: There is something starting to possibly develop here with a new guy (he's 43...age appropriate!). The problem is that he's not local, so if anything did happen it would have to be an LDR, which would royally suck. But I decided that until it becomes more than two people flirting with each other over computer screens and on the phone, I'll post about it. I'm pretty wary of online relationships in general so, believe me, I'm approaching this with the utmost caution.

I have not met him in person yet. I would probably want to web cam chat with him as the next step I suppose. We're still getting in the "getting-to-know each other" stage, so I have to figure out if I like him past the initial butterflies when I hear his voice. Right now he seems nice, but they all do at first. Hehe.

I know how you guys all feel about online relationships, so feel free to hit me with all the cautionary advice you can.

actually starbuck, i just literally yesterday signed up to online dating, the ad was on here, funny it's quite fun and harmless not like i thought it would turn out to be. so brill news on the job and hopefully this guy will turn out to be nice. i have actually missed ya sb, you tend to keep me calm. well done anyway
