Can you consider someone youve never met but who you talked to online as a friend? . I know someone who talks to people online and considers them good friends, personally i dont think its real friendship especially if you never meet them

If the definition of having a friendship is laughing together, sharing thoughts, support, ideas and stuff about everyday life - then yes, I've experienced this online. I had a female e-pal for a number of years and we were very close.
Never regret anything that has happened in your life. It cannot be changed, forgotten or undone. So, take it as a lesson learned and move on.

Yes, I have at least really good online friends I spend heaps of phone time talking too over the years, females and males. They are as good of friends as my IRL ones are to me, they listen, and care and love me. I think it is very easy to consider a person in another country who you mostly talk or see online a friend but it helps if you take it away from only online and add phone, skype etc too.

Friendship yes, because friendships don't necessarily involve physical contact. Relationships no, because what is a relationship without physical intimacy?
